| FUNDING STORMWATER MANAGEMENT |

Communities have several options for addressing the increasing demands of stormwater management. Two of the most common choices are creating a stormwater utility or establishing a stormwater department within the sanitary sewage works. A stormwater utility is an option available to all cities and towns, but only to counties with an MS4 designation. There isn’t one right solution for everyone and which approach is best for your community is dependent on a number of considerations.
